Finally, ASP.Net page can work..

My last post was I was unable to debug ASP.Net page and when I start to debug, instead of redirecting to specified start page, browser redirect to default page. I settled this problem last week but havent found the time to post it here. (Excuses!!.. Heheh.. Actually it is true, I must sleep as early as possible, as this will help to stimulate my hair growth.. no more stay up till midnight)

That day, I was totally frust after spending the whole day configurating the IIS and the page and etc.. To vent my anger and frustration, I hastily unplugged the network cable, shutdown my pc and looked at my monitor disappointedly. I felt like throwing everything.. I have followed ASP.Net forummers advice and I have tried all solutions found in Google. What else could be a mistake that my page could not run perfectly. I pacified myself.. be calm and importantly dont give stress to myself.. Remember what Cindy said.. Jangan tension2.. Nanti rambut lagi banyak gugur..

Then, I tried setting back again everything, ran the page and wallaaa... it was working fine.. restart PC and debug again.. working fine.. Aikk?? Kenape tibe2 bole pulak ni ? Ohhh.. I unplugged the network cable.. how it relate to my ASP.Net page ?? I asked SW and she said try to turn off the proxy setting and plug in the network cable.. and page able to be debugged and able to be redirected to specified page. Ohhh.. this problem was due to the proxy setting.. No one ever asked me to turn off the proxy setting when I asked them regarding this problem.. Positively, this is the good way for me to learn.. it is no good to spoon feed by others.. right ?? My problem was resolved by unchecking the setting.

Can we just enable the Proxy Setting? How this setting can be a disturbance to run ASP.Net pages ? I think this article can answer all the questions.. I have yet to digest the content. May be later when find time to read.

P/S : I have a good news.. will reveal it when I really got the ori thing..

Unable to debug ASP.Net page

I am quite frustrated. I havent solve my problem not able to debug my ASP.Net page. I have tried so many workarounds I found in Google but all that made no difference. I have tried to uninstall the IIS, VS 2005, Infragistic and reinstall them by sequence but still fail. This web report is developed by our vendor and we have to continue to develop more report for our user. To understand the structure and the coding inside, debugging can help me figuring out the coding by going through the code line by line. I have set the breakpoint to the line of code, but when start to debug it showed error

The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document.

I also have specified the start page which is the page I want to debug but it will redirect to the Default page > Default.aspx.

I dont know what to do anymore. I posted my problem in my fav forums vbforums and xtremevbtalk and I received response but havent got chance to reply.

I think I need to ask them to format my PC. I have wasted almost 2 weeks of my working days to solve this. I cant afford to waste any more weeks.. what I am going to write in my weekly report ?? Unable to debug ASP.Net page ?? Can my boss accept this ?

YNCH: Saturday appointment

On last Saturday, my mum advised me to go to YNCH for hair treatment (Mum made the appointment earlier). As she said my hair is not thickest as before and before it become worst, before I become a baldy, (that does sound so bad).. hair growth treatment was not a bad idea at all.. at least I have something to do on weekend. I enrolled in 10 sessions treatment which costed me around 5k (half of it was paid by my mum), products, pills, treatment included in. So, every Saturday I will go relaxing at YNCH. First time there I met a kid age around 6 yrs. She is cute but she is suffering from severe hair loss. Still a kid yet she has hormone imbalance that cause her hair loss.. can only see very little hair cover her head. I also met pakcik2 yang dah pencen, spent his pension money for hair treatment to control their grey hair.. Macam2 ada..

As consulted by Miss Cindy, I need to go to bed early (besides taking high fibre and protein enriched food to help hair growth), at least I need to maintain myself getting 7-8 hours of sleep and that means I need to minimize my bertenet time as I knew myself wont get enough of being in front of monitor. So.. will continue later.. Dadaaa.. Nite..

My eyes feel heavy. Today I got MS Access training. It has been two days and tomorrow is the last day. Cepat la abes training.. lepas ni bole concentrate on my web project.

Dont ask me why did I enroll in this training.. I also dont know why. When my boss asked did anyone interested to go for MS Access training (he wanted to go himself), my colleage just kept mum (they just looked at their monitor) and I turned looking at him.. "Are you interested to go ?".. Dont know what else to say.. I just nodded. The best thing if they held a training course is a free meal for breakfast, lunch and tea break. But I didnt eat that much. I gave away the coupon to my other friends so that the coupon wont get wasted. Besides, I dont like to eat food at the canteen. I am not being fussy, just that the food does not go along with my appetite.

Sunday Curse...

After two weeks being idled at home, I dont feel like going to work this morning. I feel very rusty inside and still not recover from the laziness disease .. ;).

I only got 5 hours of sleep last night, not being able to sleep.. may be because of the thinking of Monday working day.. morning meeting that take hours to finish.. listening to the production issue.. database issue.. and only a little issue of me..(like usual..heheh)

Nothing much I did today.. no big issue.. only got new task.. web report. I went to see NK to discuss about my PM investment. Played with my digicam and took pic of my work place.

I brought my digicam to snap pic of my new house progress but I didnt have the guts to enter the area coz too many abang-2 bangla and ntah-sape-sape guy.. safety not guaranteed.. terus balik aje.. esok singgah lagi..

And tonight, I feel sleepy and I think able to sleep like a baby sleeping soundly...... Nite2.

Sunday Blues...

I wanted to visit my new house, to see the progress with my mum but she looked tired after got back from work. It is okay I can go tomorrow after work to see the progress. I will drop by and snap some pics and upload them here.

But just now, I was disturbed by SW's call. Some problem in the production that user cannot do subinventory transfer to FG bucket. We suspected that Oracle havent up yet because normally on Sunday our DBA do weekly cold backup but we were not sure the timing. SW could not talk comfortably because the surrounding was noisy (she was outside.. brought her daughters out I guess). So, I helped her to call KA to settle it thru phone. The shit thing was I was able to log into the VPN but when I open my IE, it hung. Whats the problem ??? I tried again and again, the same problem I got. Before this, I got no problem to log into Oracle system when I was at home. So to resolve this, I had to ask KA to screen shot the things and email to me. Then I called SW. (Actually this AUTOFGT was not under me, it is SWs). I think theres somthing wrong with the job. It was scheduled to run on 7.15am but the job still pending. Puzzled me. SW advised to recshedule.. but sorry SW I was not so sure how to schedule. Never did before. Luckily SW has reached home when I called her so she settled it herself... Yey! I can continue my Sunday lazinezzZzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZ...
